NEW YORK — Police say a Manhattan couple apparently distraught over their funds jumped from the person’s ninth-floor Madison Avenue workplace window and died.
Fifty-three-year-old chiropractor Glenn Scarpelli and his spouse Patricia Colant, 50, have been discovered Friday morning. Police say they every had suicide notes that referenced monetary issues. Chief of detectives Robert Boyce stated the supply of their cash issues wasn’t clear, and police have been wanting into it.
Sources told CBS New York there was additionally point out of “common monetary hardship” within the notes.
In response to state and federal data, Scarpelli owed tens of hundreds of dollars in unpaid state and federal taxes.
