Manhattan authorities on the lookout for man who walked away from work-release submit – Topeka Capital Journal

Riley County authorities on Wednesday have been lookingfor a person who didn’t return to jail Tuesday night time after being out on work launch.

The Riley County Police Division’s Twitter account recognized the person as Billy Womack, 32, of Manhattan.

Police officers filed a report in reference to aggravated escape from custody about 7:55 p.m. Tuesday within the 1000 block of S. Seth Youngster Street in Manhattan.

Womack, who isn’t thought-about to be a menace to the general public, was being held within the Riley County Jail on a Shawnee County District Courtroom warrant for failure to seem.
